Rugged slim collar for all breeds

The Garmin Alpha T 20 is a GPS dog tracking collar built with a rugged yet slim housing that fits large and small breeds. It includes a user-replaceable flex band for a secure fit. A built-in multicolor LED offers seven colour options to identify your dog in darkness. The collar tracks at a range of up to 9 miles when paired with a compatible handheld.

Handheld required and battery choice

A compatible handheld device is sold separately and must be purchased to enable tracking. Updates can arrive as frequently as 2.5 seconds depending on the handheld used. The standard battery pack delivers up to 68 hours of life, while an optional expanded battery pack extends this to 136 hours when dynamic tracking is active. Wi-Fi connectivity allows automatic software updates while charging.

Hunters and multi-dog handlers

This collar suits owners who need long-range tracking for multiple dogs across open terrain and want quick visual identification at night. It is not for buyers who want a self-contained tracker that works without a separate handheld. It is also not for those who need containment or stimulation features, as this model provides tracking and lighting only.
