4U desktop studio rack

The Gator Cases Elite Series 4U Desktop Server Rack in Dark Walnut Brown is a plywood enclosure designed to hold up to four rack units of professional audio equipment such as preamps, interfaces and effects processors. Its furniture-grade finish suits home studios and control rooms where appearance matters as much as function.

Check rack-unit count and depth

Verify that your gear totals no more than 4U of vertical space and that each chassis depth fits within the open-back frame. The rack ships as a flat-pack kit with all assembly hardware included, so confirm you have basic hand tools and a level surface for the 25mm plywood panels.

Open-back airflow and cable access

The open enclosure design allows unrestricted airflow around mounted devices while the rear opening gives direct access to cables and connections for quick re-patching. Leveling feet on the base compensate for uneven desks, keeping the rack stable without the need for a full-size floor cabinet.
