A DP 1.4 KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor and four USB 3.0 peripherals at up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 240 Hz
This DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and lower formats such as 4K at 240 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz, and 1080p. The unit is new and includes two 8K DisplayPort cables plus two USB-A-to-C cables for power and data.
The aluminium enclosure houses three USB-A 3.0 ports and one USB-C 3.0 port for flash drives, printers, or external drives at up to 5 Gbps, with backward compatibility to USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps. Two USB-A-to-C cables must be connected to supply power and enable USB data switching. The box is not a USB-C KVM switch; video travels over DisplayPort only.
Verify that both computers and the monitor support DisplayPort 1.4 and the target resolution. For 8K at 60 Hz the host GPUs, the monitor, and the cables must all be rated for 8K. If your monitor only offers HDMI or USB-C video input, this switch will not work.

It uses DisplayPort 1.4 and supports up to 8K at 60Hz, with backward compatibility for 4K at 240Hz, 4K at 120Hz, 4K at 60Hz, 2560x1440 at 60Hz, and 1080p.
Two DisplayPort 1.4 cables connect the computers to the switch, and the monitor plugs into the switch's DisplayPort output. Two USB-A to USB-C cables must also be connected for power and data.
Switch using the front-panel button. A common mistake is forgetting to plug in both USB-A to USB-C cables, which are required for power and USB data transfer.
