Two-port KVM with integrated cables

The Tripp Lite B032-HUA2 lets one user control two computers from a single HDMI monitor, USB keyboard and mouse. Built-in 4 ft cables carry video, USB data and audio so no separate leads are required. It suits home offices or small labs where desk space is limited and only two systems need sharing.

Verify HDMI video and USB ports on each computer

Each target machine must provide an HDMI output and a standard USB Type-A port for the integrated cables to connect. The switch draws power from the USB links, so both computers must supply bus power while switched. Audio switching follows the active video channel, so confirm your monitors or speakers accept the 2.1-channel output.

Stable operation during long sessions

The unit maintains the selected 1920 x 1200 resolution without re-negotiation when switching, preventing display flicker during extended use. USB peripheral enumeration remains consistent across hotkey, mouse-gesture or remote button changes. Passive cooling and no moving parts mean thermal behaviour stays constant over hours of continuous operation.

Questions about this item

Does the B032-HUA2 include cables or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains the KVM switch with built-in 4 ft. HDMI, USB and audio cables plus an owner's manual, so no extra cables are required for the two connected computers.

How do I decide between the two ports on this switch?

Both ports are identical; connect each computer to one of the integrated cable sets and switch between them using hotkeys, the remote button or the mouse-port method.

What does the 1920 x 1200 resolution spec mean when I'm actually using the switch?

It supports video up to 1920 x 1200 (1080p) with 2.1-channel surround sound, so dual-monitor setups at that resolution will display correctly through the switch.
