Lets two computers share dual monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals at up to 4096×2160@60Hz with copy and extended display modes
This dual-monitor KVM switch lets two computers or laptops share a pair of HDMI displays and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It offers copy mode, where both screens show the same image, and extended mode, where each screen shows a different desktop. Each connected computer must provide two HDMI outputs and support multi-monitor operation for extended mode to function.
The HDMI interface handles resolutions up to 4096×2160 at 60 Hz and is backward compatible with 4K at 30 Hz, 1080p and lower formats. Maximum resolution requires both the source device and the HDMI cable to support 4K at 60 Hz. The four USB 3.0 ports deliver data rates up to 5 Gbps, ten times the speed of USB 2.0, while remaining compatible with USB 2.0 devices such as keyboards and mice.
The switch comfortably manages dual-display workflows for two systems, providing each with access to four shared USB 3.0 ports for peripherals like printers, keyboards and mice. It runs out of headroom when a third computer needs access or when a source cannot supply two HDMI signals for extended mode. The included 12 V DC adapter and wired controller complete the package for desktop deployment.

Choose copy mode when both screens must show the same image; choose extended mode when you need two separate desktops. Extended mode requires each computer to have two HDMI outputs and to support multiple monitors.
It provides a 4K 60 Hz picture on each connected monitor, provided both the source and the HDMI cable also support 4K 60 Hz. Lower resolutions such as 1080p or 4K 30 Hz work automatically.
The four USB 3.0 ports share a 5 Gbps bandwidth ceiling. USB 2.0 devices work at their normal speed through the same ports.
