Dual-computer HDMI KVM

This HDMI KVM switch connects two computers to one monitor while sharing a keyboard, mouse and three USB 3.0 peripherals. It accepts PCs, laptops and game consoles and works with Windows 7 through 11, Linux and Mac systems. The package includes two USB cables and a wired controller for instant switching.

Sustained 8K 60Hz operation

The switch maintains 8K resolution at 60Hz continuously without signal degradation or frame drops during long sessions. HDCP 2.3 compliance stays active so protected content plays without handshake failures. Automatic EDID adaptation keeps the display configuration stable when inputs change or computers sleep.

Three USB 3.0 ports at 5Gbps

Three downstream USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5Gbps each for printers, scanners and external drives shared between both computers. The hub auto-detects attached devices and re-enumerates them cleanly on every switch. Buyers who need more than three shared USB devices or a second monitor output cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

Does the GCROWN KVM switch add noticeable heat or fan noise when left running all day?

The unit has no fan and draws minimal power through the USB 3.0 links, so it stays cool and silent during continuous use.

Which cables must I already own to connect two computers and one monitor to this switch?

You need two HDMI cables for the video links and two USB 3.0 cables for the computer ports; the monitor uses its own HDMI cable.

Will my older 1080P monitor work properly with the 8K 60Hz capability of this KVM?

Yes, the switch automatically negotiates EDID and supports 1080P alongside higher resolutions, so the older monitor will display correctly.
