Two-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 50 A at 120/240 V AC with 10 kA interrupting capacity and bolt-on mounting for load centres
The GE THQB2150 is a two-pole miniature circuit breaker rated at 50 amperes for 120/240 volt AC single-phase systems. It mounts by bolting onto compatible THQ-style load centers or lighting panels. The toggle actuator provides clear on/off indication and manual reset after a trip event.
The breaker carries continuous rated current without nuisance tripping and interrupts short-circuit faults up to 10 kiloamperes at 120/240 volts AC. Thermal-magnetic operation handles prolonged overloads by heating a bimetal element while the magnetic coil reacts instantly to high-magnitude faults. Lug terminals accept copper conductors from 8 AWG to 3 AWG for secure, low-resistance connections.
This unit replaces a 50 A two-pole breaker that has reached end of life or no longer holds calibration, restoring reliable branch-circuit protection. It also serves when a circuit is upgraded from a smaller ampacity to 50 A, provided the panel bus and wiring are rated for the higher current. Builders needing a different pole count or voltage rating should select an alternative model.

The breaker is rated for 50 A at 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity; normal operation produces only the heat expected from its internal resistance at rated load.
It fits GE lighting panels and load centers that accept the THQB series bolt-on frame, with a 100 A frame size and 3.5 in length.
Yes, it is designed for single-phase 120/240 V AC systems and accepts wire sizes from 8 AWG up to 3 AWG on its lug terminals.
