GE THQL 15 A 2 Pole HID Breaker

This miniature circuit breaker is a GE THQL series device rated at 15 A for single phase 120/240 V AC systems. It uses a high intensity discharge trip curve designed for lighting loads with high inrush current. The unit fits Power Mark Gold load centers and AQ lighting panels via a plug in mounting style. It is built on a 100 A frame size.

10 kA AIR at 120/240 V AC interrupting limit

The breaker carries a maximum AIR rating of 10 kA at 120/240 V AC which defines the highest prospective fault current it can safely interrupt. It has no DC voltage rating so it must not be used on direct current circuits. The two pole construction occupies two adjacent panel spaces and connects through screw clamp terminals. The toggle actuator provides manual on off control.

Installation consists of snapping the breaker into a compatible AQ or Power Mark Gold panelboard and tightening the screw clamp terminals onto the conductors. The 3.3 in length and 2 in width must match the available panel space.
