PD trigger board for charger testing
This GE USB-C PD trigger board simulates Power Delivery and Quick Charge negotiation to request fixed voltages from a compatible charger. Engineers, technicians and hobbyists use it to verify charger output, test cables or power prototype circuits without a full PD controller. The pack contains five identical green modules.
Upgrades manual voltage selection
A DIP switch replaces trial-and-error cable swaps by letting you select 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V directly on the board. The jump is worth it when you need repeatable voltage steps for load testing, repair diagnostics or validating PD3.0 and PD2.0 compliance up to 100W.
Plug in and set the switch
Insert the USB-C connector into the charger, set the desired voltage with the DIP switch and the board negotiates the contract automatically. Built-in over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection shut the output down if limits are exceeded. The only common issue is forgetting to match the switch position to the test plan before applying power.
