9U wall-mount rack with glass door

The gelbertsmart 9U enclosure provides a lockable glass front door and a welded steel frame rated for 130 pound capacity. It accepts standard 19 inch rack-mount equipment and uses cage-nut rails for secure mounting. The unit measures 20 inch high by 23.63 inch wide by 17.72 inch deep.

Check wall structure and clearances

Verify the mounting surface can support the rack plus installed hardware and that studs or anchors align with the bracket pattern. Ensure at least 17.72 inch depth is available from the wall face and that the 23.63 inch width fits the chosen location. Confirm the glass door swing radius is unobstructed and that cable routing paths exist for rear connections.

Questions about this item

Does the 19 inch rack enclosure ship with cage nuts and screws, or must I buy them separately?

The unit includes rails drilled for cage nut style bolting; cage nuts and mounting screws are not supplied and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 9U cabinet with the 17.72 inch depth or a deeper model for full-size servers?

At 17.72 inches deep the cabinet suits patch panels, switches and shallow appliances; full-depth servers typically need a deeper enclosure.
