USB-C Splitter 1 to 2 Ports

This USB-C splitter provides one male connector and two female ports for laptops, monitors, TVs and projectors. It operates in two modes: one port handles data or 4K video while the other supplies power to accessories, or a connected charger powers the second port for fans and lights. The adapter weighs 0.0220462262 lb and comes in black.

Suits single-video workflows.

The splitter suits users who need one 4K@60Hz video output plus a power port for peripherals. It does not support simultaneous video on both ports, nor does it carry audio, earphone or microphone signals. Buyers who need dual independent displays or audio pass-through should look at something else.

One 4K@60Hz stream and 10Gbps data on the USB 3.1

The USB 3.1 port delivers up to 10Gbps theoretical data transfer and a single 4K@60Hz video stream. The second port runs at USB 2.0 480Mbps for OTG storage or power-only devices. PD charging reaches 100W with a compatible charger and cable, but the adapter cannot run an SSD and a microphone together.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a USB-C port that supports video output to use the 4K@60Hz feature on this splitter?

Yes, the 4K@60Hz video output works only through the USB 3.1 port and requires the host device's USB-C port to support video output. Check your device specifications before connecting a monitor.

Can I keep using my USB 2.0 peripherals with the second port while running a 4K display on the first?

The second port operates at USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps and can power accessories like lights or fans while the USB 3.1 port handles 10 Gbps data or 4K@60Hz video.

How can I verify the splitter is delivering 10 Gbps throughput after I plug it in?

Connect a USB 3.1 storage device to the video-capable port and measure the transfer speed; it should approach the 10 Gbps theoretical maximum depending on the drive and cable.
