Mountable Indoor Speakers 400 Watts

The Gemini AA321B ARIA926DW is a pair of passive bookshelf speakers designed for indoor surround sound systems. Each unit uses a 2.5 inch polypropylene full-range woofer with butyl rubber surrounds. The sealed ABS cabinets include spring-loaded wire terminals and fully directional swivel wall mounts. They accept amplifier power from 20 to 200 watts per channel.

Upgrade From Basic TV Audio

These speakers replace built-in television sound or entry-level satellite speakers with wider frequency response and higher power handling. The jump is worth it when an existing amplifier or receiver has raw speaker wire outputs and can deliver at least 20 watts per channel. The 400 watt total peak rating suits medium-sized rooms without requiring a dedicated subwoofer.

Check Amplifier And Wiring First

Verify the amplifier provides 4 ohm nominal impedance compatibility and raw speaker wire outputs. Confirm CL3-rated or standard speaker wire is available for in-wall runs if needed. Ensure wall mounting locations can support the included brackets and that the swivel range covers the intended listening area. No remote control is included.

Questions about this item

What are the mounting dimensions and bracket type for the 3.5" x 3.5" x 4.5" ABS cabinets?

Each speaker includes a fully directional swivel wall mount attachment and four wall screws for securing the compact ABS cabinets to a wall or ceiling.

How do I connect the spring loaded wire terminals to an amplifier, and what gauge wire is required?

Strip the raw speaker wire, insert into the spring loaded terminals, and ensure your amplifier delivers 20 to 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms using CL3 or raw speaker wire.

When should the butyl rubber surrounds on the 2.5" polypropylene woofers be inspected or replaced?

Inspect the butyl rubber surrounds periodically for cracking or stiffness; replace them if the 88 dB sensitivity drops or distortion appears at the 150 Hz to 20 kHz range.
