System Overview

The Gemini ARIA926DW is a powered bookshelf speaker system delivering 60 watts total output. It combines an active speaker with a passive unit using included wire. Bluetooth 5.3 enables wireless streaming from phones or tablets. Wired inputs include AUX, Optical and TV-ARC for turntables, computers and televisions. No separate receiver or amplifier is required.

Ideal Use Cases

This system suits listeners wanting compact stereo sound for desktops, turntables or TVs with simple connectivity. Buyers needing Dolby or DTS decoding should look elsewhere, as only PCM and stereo formats are supported. Users whose turntables offer only PHONO output require an external preamplifier. The single 3.5 mm AUX cable supplied may limit some wired setups.

Deciding Specification

The 60 watt power rating defines the maximum output level for the room size and listening distance you can fill. The 27 Hz to 120 kHz frequency response indicates the bass extension and treble detail available. The 6.5 inch driver size determines the physical cabinet dimensions and low-frequency capability. Match these figures to your space and volume requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the 60 W speaker system stay cool and quiet during all-day playback?

The cabinets use ABS, metal and MDF construction that helps dissipate heat from the built-in amplifier, and with no fan fitted the system runs silently even after hours of continuous use.

What cables or devices must I already have to connect the ARIA926DW to my TV?

You need an optical cable or an HDMI cable with ARC support; neither is included in the box, while the supplied 3.5 mm AUX lead covers analogue sources.

Will the 2.75 inch woofer and 6.5 inch driver integrate cleanly with my older turntable that only has a phono output?

The turntable must be set to line-level output or routed through an external phono preamp, because the speaker’s analogue input expects a line-level signal.
