Gemini DS6900M Passive Bookshelf Pair

These passive bookshelf speakers arrive as a stereo pair and require an external amplifier or receiver to operate. They are intended for listeners who want a wired, indoor setup for music or home-theatre use without built-in wireless features.

5-inch Woofer and 20mm Silk Dome Tweeter

Each cabinet combines a 5-inch woofer with a 20mm silk dome tweeter in an ABS, metal and MDF enclosure measuring 6.5 by 10.6 by 7.5 inches. The wired-only connection means you must supply speaker cables, while the included mounting screws allow wall placement if desired.

Check Amplifier Compatibility and Wiring

Verify that your amplifier or receiver is rated for 4-ohm loads before purchasing, as many older units only support 8 ohms. Speaker wire is not included, so budget for a separate cable run, and note that Bluetooth or wireless streaming is not supported.

Questions about this item

What amplifier impedance does the 4-ohm passive speaker require?

The speakers present a 4-ohm nominal load. Your amplifier must be rated for 4-ohm operation; many older models only support 8 ohms and could overheat or shut down.

What are the exact cabinet dimensions for shelf or wall mounting?

Each cabinet measures 6.5 inches wide, 10.6 inches high and 7.5 inches deep. The supplied kit includes two screws and two wall anchors for bracket mounting.

How do I connect speaker cable to the rear terminals without causing a short?

Strip about 10 mm of insulation, twist the strands tightly, then insert each conductor into the correct spring-clip or binding post — red to positive, black to negative — ensuring no stray strands bridge the terminals.
