Scale and subject

This 1/400 scale diecast model reproduces the Boeing 727-100 airliner in the United Airlines Saul Bass livery. The replica carries registration N7001U and is finished in white with coloured stripes. It is manufactured by GeminiJets as a new, officially licensed collectible. The construction uses diecast metal with some plastic parts for weight and durability.

Collector focus and limitations

The model suits adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value accurate exterior detail in a compact display piece. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Buyers who want a display stand included should look elsewhere, as none is supplied. The mould has no openings, so interior access is not possible.

Deciding specification

The model measures approximately 4 inches in length with a 3.25 inch wingspan. These dimensions determine whether the replica fits the available shelf or cabinet space. The fixed landing gear and lack of moving parts mean the aircraft is intended for static display only.
