Push Lever Dispenser for Hardwound Rolls

The Georgia-Pacific 54338 is a wall-mounted paper towel dispenser designed for commercial washrooms and high-traffic indoor areas. It accepts universal hardwound rolls with core diameters of 1 1/2 in, 1 5/8 in, and 2 in. The translucent smoke plastic construction allows staff to monitor roll levels at a glance.

Upgrade from Manual Crank or Folded Towel Units

This push lever mechanism replaces older crank-style dispensers or folded towel cabinets that require frequent refilling and create waste. The jump is worth it when a facility needs single-sheet dispensing to control consumption and reduce cross-contamination. It holds one roll at a time for simplified maintenance.

Check Wall Space and Roll Compatibility

Verify the mounting location accommodates the dispenser dimensions of 14 1/4 in height, 12 1/2 in width, and 10 1/2 in depth. Ensure existing paper towel inventory matches the 7 7/8 in roll width and supported core diameters. Confirm the wall surface can support the plastic unit and that the push lever operation suits the intended users.

What wall space does the 14-1/4" high by 12-1/2" wide dispenser require for mounting?

The unit needs a wall area at least 14-1/4 inches tall and 12-1/2 inches wide, plus enough depth clearance for the 10-1/2 inch projection.

How is the push-lever mechanism loaded correctly so paper feeds without jamming?

Insert a hardwound roll with a 1-1/2, 1-5/8 or 2 inch core, thread the paper through the guide rollers, then close the cover before pulling the first sheet.
