Wall-Mounted Paper Towel Dispenser

The Georgia-Pacific 54518 is a black, wall-mounted dispenser designed for commercial washrooms. It holds one hardwound roll and uses motion-activated, touch-free operation to reduce cross-contamination. The unit is made of plastic and includes batteries for immediate installation.

Suited For High-Traffic Washrooms

Facilities managers who want a proprietary Pacific Blue Ultra system with a five-year warranty will find this model appropriate. Buyers who need a dispenser compatible with universal roll formats or who require ADA-compliant hardware should look at alternative options.

Single-Roll Capacity With Proprietary Core

The dispenser accepts only one roll with a 1 3/4 inch core diameter and 9 inch width, locking the washroom to the Pacific Blue Ultra refill system. This single specification determines whether the unit matches existing supply contracts.

Questions about this item

How often will the four D-cell batteries need replacing in the motion-activated dispenser?

Battery life depends on traffic volume; the unit ships with batteries included and uses four D cells to power the infrared sensor.

What roll diameter or core size stops the dispenser from feeding paper?

It accepts one hardwound roll up to 9 in wide with a 1 3/4 in core; larger diameters will not fit the spindle.

How warm does the plastic housing get when the sensor runs continuously all day?

The sensor circuit draws minimal current, so the housing remains at ambient temperature during constant operation.
