Rugged 12.5" tablet with Core i7-8550U

The Getac K120 is a new rugged tablet built for field workers who need a full Windows 11 Pro device that survives drops, vibration and dust. Its 12.5 inch IPS touchscreen runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution and reaches 1200 nits for sunlight readability. An Intel Core i7-8550U processor with a base frequency of 1.80 GHz and up to 4 GHz turbo drives the system.

MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified deployment

The unit meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards, resisting 1.8 metre drops and water jets without extra mounting hardware. Installation is limited to inserting a SIM for optional 4G LTE and connecting peripherals via USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet. Common issues involve configuring optional modules such as the barcode reader, serial port or smart card reader, which require driver setup before field use.

512 GB SSD and 8 GB DDR4 headroom

The 512 GB solid-state drive and 8 GB of DDR4 memory handle Windows 11 Pro, business applications and local data caches comfortably. Heavy multitasking with large datasets or virtual machines will exhaust the 8 GB memory ceiling, and the integrated UHD Graphics 620 limits 3D or GPU-accelerated workloads. Storage expansion depends on optional USB or serial accessories rather than internal slots.
