GIGABYTE

GIGABYTE B660I AORUS PRO DDR4 B660 Intel LGA 1700 Mini-ITX Motherboard DDR4 Single M.2 PCIe 4.0 USB 3.2 Gen2

SKU CH-8VNE-C6NCK

Mini-ITX board for 12th Gen Intel Core with DDR4, single M.2 slot, PCIe 4.0, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, WIFI 6 and Intel 2.5GbE LAN

  • Supports 12th Gen Intel Core processors with LGA 1700 socket
  • Dual-channel DDR4 memory across two DIMM slots for responsive multitasking
  • 8+1+1 phase digital VRM with 90A SPS delivers stable power to the CPU
  • PCIe 4.0 M.2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C enable fast storage and peripheral speeds
  • Intel 2.5GbE LAN and WIFI 6 802.11ax provide high-throughput wired and wireless networking

Compact Intel platform

The GIGABYTE B660I AORUS PRO DDR4 fits a 12th Gen Intel Core processor into a Mini-ITX footprint. An 8+1+1 phase digital VRM rated at 90A per stage feeds the CPU, while extended heatsinks and a thermal backplate handle the resulting heat. Dual-channel DDR4 memory populates two slots.

Build focus and limits

This board suits compact workstations or gaming builds that need strong VRM cooling and 2.5GbE plus WIFI 6 in a small case. Builders who want more storage than a single M.2 socket provides, or who require multiple expansion cards, should look at a larger form factor.

Deciding specification

One NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot is the only high-speed drive connection on the board. If the build calls for a second NVMe drive or additional PCIe add-in cards, this motherboard cannot accommodate them.

Questions about this item

What 12th Gen Intel Core processor socket does the B660I AORUS PRO DDR4 require?

The board uses an LGA 1700 socket, so you must already have a compatible 12th Gen Intel Core CPU for it to work.

Can I keep my existing DDR4 memory when upgrading to this Mini-ITX board?

Yes, the board supports dual-channel non-ECC unbuffered DDR4 across two DIMM slots, so your current DDR4 modules will work.

How can I confirm the WIFI 6 and 2.5GbE LAN are active after assembly?

Check Device Manager for the Intel 2.5GbE controller and WIFI 6 802.11ax adapter, then verify link speed in network settings.
