Micro ATX board with LGA 1150 socket, Intel H97 chipset, four DDR3 slots up to 32 GB, one PCIe 3.0 x16 and one PCIe 2.0 x4, six SATA 6 Gb/s ports, 7.1 audio and gigabit LAN
The GIGABYTE GA-H97M-D3H is a micro ATX motherboard built around the Intel H97 chipset for LGA 1150 processors. It accepts Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron CPUs and provides four 240-pin slots for DDR3 memory at 1600 or 1333 MT/s in dual-channel mode. Onboard graphics output via HDMI is available when the installed CPU includes an integrated graphics engine.
Memory runs at DDR3 1600 or 1333 across two channels with a hard limit of 32 GB across the four slots. The single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot delivers full bandwidth for a graphics card while the second x16-size slot operates at x4 over PCI Express 2.0. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 and a Realtek 8111F-VL controller caps wired networking at 1 Gbps.
The board comfortably handles mainstream workloads with up to 32 GB of DDR3 and six SATA drives in RAID arrays. Expansion beyond the primary x16 slot is limited to one PCI Express 2.0 x4 slot and two legacy PCI slots. Rear I/O supplies four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a PS/2 combo port and 7.1-channel audio from the Realtek ALC892 codec.

Both speeds work; install DDR3 1600 modules to run at the higher 1600 rate, or DDR3 1333 modules which will run at 1333.
You can populate all four 240-pin slots with up to 8 GB DDR3 modules each, giving a total of 32 GB in dual-channel mode.
The slot delivers PCI Express 3.0 x16 bandwidth for a graphics card; the second long slot is wired as PCI Express 2.0 x4.
