ATX motherboard with Intel Z270 chipset, LGA 1151 socket for 6th and 7th generation Intel Core processors, DDR4 memory up to 3866 MHz overclocked, HDMI output, SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.1 connectivity
The GIGABYTE GA-Z270P-D3 revision 1.0 is an ATX motherboard built around the Intel Z270 chipset and the LGA 1151 socket. It accepts 6th and 7th generation Intel Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron processors. The board provides HDMI output, SATA 6Gb/s ports and USB 3.1 connectivity.
This board suits builders who already own a compatible LGA 1151 processor and want a Z270 feature set with conventional SATA storage and DDR4 memory. It is not for buyers who need 8th generation Intel CPU support, as the socket and chipset do not accept those processors.
The memory controller supports a long list of DDR4 data rates from 2133 MT/s up to 3866 MT/s when overclocked, including 2400, 2666, 3000, 3200 and 3600 MT/s steps. This single specification determines which memory kits will run at their rated speed on the platform.

The Z270 chipset is designed for continuous operation with the supported 6th and 7th generation Intel Core processors.
The board uses standard ATX 24-pin and 8-pin CPU power connectors; fan headers are 4-pin hybrid for PWM or voltage control.
DDR4 modules at 2133 or 2400 MHz work natively; speeds up to 3866 MHz are supported through overclocking.
