Extended ATX server board with LGA 4677 socket, 16 DDR5 slots supporting 4 TB, and dual 10 GbE LAN
The GIGABYTE MS33-AR0 is an Extended ATX motherboard built around the Intel C741 chipset for 4th and 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Xeon CPU Max series. It supports one CPU with a TDP up to 350W and provides sixteen 288-pin DDR5 slots in an eight-channel layout for up to 4TB of registered memory.
The board is engineered to deliver power to a single processor rated up to 350W while maintaining stable operation across sixteen DDR5 DIMMs running at 5600 MT/s. Onboard Aspeed AST2600 graphics and a dedicated management port allow remote monitoring of temperatures and fan speeds without loading the main CPU.
Two 10Gb/s BASE-T LAN ports driven by an Intel X710-AT2 controller handle high-throughput networking. Storage connects through two SATA 6.0Gb/s ports, two SlimSAS connectors for eight additional SATA 6Gb/s devices, and one M.2 M-key slot supporting 2280 and 22110 cards over PCIe Gen3 x4 from the PCH. Seven PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and two MCIO 8i connectors provide Gen5 x8 links for accelerators and NVMe drives. Builders needing more than two 10GbE ports or more than two native SATA ports from the chipset should plan for add-in cards.

Open the socket lever, align the processor triangle with the socket corner, lower the CPU gently without pressure, close the lever and torque the retention screws in a cross pattern to the specified value.
The dedicated management port and BMC firmware should be updated periodically through the web interface to address security advisories and add feature support.
The voltage-regulator thermal limit on the 16-phase power delivery triggers throttling before the CPU hits its own thermal ceiling.
