Single-socket SP3 board with 16 DDR4 3200 slots in eight channels, multiple PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, dual 1 GbE LAN and dedicated management port
The GIGABYTE MZ32-AR0 rev 3.0 is a server motherboard built around a single Socket SP3 for AMD EPYC 7002 series processors. It targets builders who need eight-channel DDR4 memory and dense PCIe 4.0 expansion in a standard form factor. The board ships new with an I/O shield, a quick-start guide and two SlimSAS cables that break out eight SATA 6Gb/s connections.
A BIOS update is required before the board will recognise AMD EPYC 7003 series processors, so plan for that step if you intend to use the newer family. The primary x16 slot shares bandwidth with a secondary x8 slot, and the seventh x16 slot shares its lanes with four NVMe ports; populate them accordingly to avoid unexpected lane reductions. Power delivery uses one 24-pin ATX connector plus two 8-pin ATX 12V connectors, and the package includes only the two SATA-focused SlimSAS cables.
Sixteen 288-pin DDR4 slots run at 3200 across eight channels, supporting RDIMM and LRDIMM modules for very large memory footprints. Storage connectivity provides two SlimSAS ports for eight SATA drives and four SlimSAS ports for four NVMe drives, plus two M.2 slots wired for PCIe Gen3 x4 that accept 2242, 2260 and 2280 cards. Rear I/O supplies dual 1GbE LAN, a dedicated management port, COM, VGA and three USB 3.0 ports.

Power on the board and confirm the Aspeed AST2500 video output appears on the D-Sub port; check the dedicated MLAN port responds to the management interface and that both Intel I350-AM2 LAN ports show link lights.
The box includes the motherboard, I/O shield, quick start guide and two SlimSAS cables for eight SATA 6Gb/s drives; you must purchase an AMD EPYC 7002 or 7003 series CPU, DDR4 3200 RDIMM or LRDIMM modules, storage drives and a compatible chassis with power supplies.
The board supports AMD EPYC 7002 series out of the box; a BIOS update enables AMD EPYC 7003 series processors, so select 7002 for immediate use or 7003 if you can apply the update before deployment.
