ATX motherboard for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with LGA 1851 socket, 16+1+2 digital power phases, DDR5 up to 9466 MT/s, four M.2 slots, PCIe 5.0 graphics slot, USB4, WiFi 7 and 5 GbE LAN
The GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 PLUS uses the LGA 1851 socket and Intel Z890 chipset to support Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors. Four 288-pin slots accept DDR5 memory up to 256 GB with XMP 3.0 profiles. The 16+1+2 digital VRM design delivers steady power for demanding workloads.
Advanced VRM heatsinks provide better heat dissipation for the 16+1+2 power phase layout. Integrated I/O shield simplifies assembly and airflow. WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connect through a directional ultra-high gain antenna. A 5 GbE LAN port handles wired traffic without extra controllers.
PCIe EZ-Latch Plus releases a graphics card with a single click. M.2 EZ-Latch Click and Plus enable screwless installation for heatsinks and SSDs across four M.2 slots. WIFI EZ-Plug attaches the antenna quickly. DriverBIOS loads the WiFi driver before the OS starts. Rear EZ Buttons give organised troubleshooting access.

Align the triangle marker on the processor with the socket corner, lower it straight down without force, then secure the retention lever; the pins are in the socket, so keeping the CPU level prevents damage.
Dust the VRM fins with compressed air every few months and check that the thermal pads still contact the MOSFETs; dried pads should be replaced to keep temperatures stable.
The board tops out at DDR5 9466 MT/s via XMP 3.0, so memory bandwidth caps there; pushing higher requires a different platform.
