Glow Edge 22" Silver Beauty Dish Broncolor Pulso

SKU CH-6MYX-6W1HN

A 22-inch silver beauty dish with double parabolic reflectors creates high-contrast, wrap-around light for portrait and fashion work on Broncolor Pulso mounts

  • Double parabolic reflector creates wrap-around light with contrast
  • Silver finish boosts output and reveals subject detail
  • 22 inch diameter suits head-and-shoulders portraits
  • Opaque centre disk eliminates direct flash on subject
  • Compatible with Broncolor Pulso mount via optional speedring

Silver Beauty Dish for Broncolor Pulso

The Glow Edge 22" Silver Beauty Dish mounts directly onto Broncolor Pulso flash heads using a compatible speedring. It is designed for portrait and fashion photographers who want a distinctive look with higher output and more contrast than a softbox provides. The silver interior maximises light efficiency while enhancing subject detail.

Sustained output and contrast

The double parabolic reflector system maintains consistent light quality during extended shooting sessions. A central opaque disk blocks direct flash, forcing light to bounce backward and flood the bowl for a wide, even spread. This design prevents hotspots and delivers the signature wrap-around illumination with crisp edge definition.

Speedring mount constraint

The dish requires a separate Broncolor Pulso speedring to attach to the flash head, so it cannot be used on other mounting systems without an adapter. Its 22" diameter suits head-and-shoulders or half-figure work in confined spaces where larger modifiers would not fit. Photographers needing broad group coverage or umbrella-style diffusion should consider alternative tools.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 22" silver beauty dish add during long studio sessions?

The modifier is passive and adds no heat; only the flash head generates warmth, so temperature depends on the light source you pair with it.

Which speedring do I need to mount this dish on a Broncolor Pulso head?

A Broncolor Pulso-compatible speedring is required and sold separately; the dish itself has no built-in mount.

Will the 22" dish cover a full-length subject the way my old softbox did?

The 22" size is designed for head-and-shoulders or half-figure work; it throws a narrower, more contrasty beam than a large softbox.
