Glow Edge ParaSnap OTA Adapter Set for Hexa & ParaSnap

SKU CH-SD9Q-CX8W5

Adapter set connects speedlights to ParaSnap and HexaPop softboxes using bayonet mount and pressure clamp lock

  • Securely mount speedlights with a pressure clamp lock and one-touch release
  • Works with Flashpoint Zoom Li-on, eVOLV200, Zoom Li-on Mini and standard Canon, Nikon, Metz, Sony speedlights
  • Lightweight polycarbonate construction adds minimal weight for enhanced portability
  • OTA-H adapter measures 7.6 x 1.5 x 2.5 inches and weighs only 5.5 oz
  • Simplifies connectivity for ParaSnap, ParaSnap II and HexaPop softboxes with bayonet attachment

Versatile Flash Compatibility

The Glow Edge ParaSnap OTA Adapter Set connects speedlights and small monolights to ParaSnap and HexaPop softboxes. It supports Flashpoint Zoom Li-on, eVOLV200, Zoom Li-on Mini, and standard shoe-mount flashes from Canon, Nikon, Metz, and Sony. The kit replaces the standard Bowens mount plate for direct bayonet attachment of OTA adapters. It enables use of magnetic rimmed filters, grids, and Roundhead accessories for the Zoom Li-on X.

Compact Adapter Dimensions

The OTA-H adapter measures 7.6 by 1.5 by 2.5 inches and weighs 5.5 ounces, adding minimal mass to a lighting kit. Its lightweight polycarbonate construction balances portability with durability for location work. The pressure clamp lock with one-touch release secures rectangular-head flashes such as the eVOLV200 series. Builders needing support for larger studio strobes or heavier modifiers will find the capacity insufficient.

Bowens Mount Replacement Limits

The adapter ring replaces the native Bowens mount plate on the ParaSnap assembly hub, locking OTA accessories via bayonet connection. This interface change means original Bowens-mount accessories no longer attach directly without the ring installed. The system is designed specifically for the ParaSnap and ParaSnap II softbox families. Photographers using other softbox brands or standard Bowens-mount heads cannot use this adapter set.

Questions about this item

Will the OTA-H adapter's 7.6 x 1.5 x 2.5 inch dimensions clear my existing Bowens-mount monolight when mounted on a ParaSnap?

The OTA-H measures 7.6 x 1.5 x 2.5 inches and weighs 5.5 oz, replacing the Bowens mount plate on the ParaSnap hub so it sits flush without adding bulk that would interfere with most monolights.

How can I confirm the pressure clamp lock is holding my speedlight securely after attaching the OTA-S adapter?

The one-touch release only opens when you press the button; if the flash does not move when you tug it gently, the clamp is locked and the speedlight is secured.

Does the set include the OTA-A ring, OTA-S speedlight adapter and OTA-H handle, or must any of them be purchased separately?

The box contains the OTA-A Adapter Ring, OTA-A Adapter for Speedlites and OTA-H Handle — the three components needed to connect ParaSnap or HexaPop softboxes to shoe-mount flashes.
