Portable RGB Video Light

The SmallRig RM120 is a pocket-sized LED panel with a built-in 5000mAh battery delivering up to 180 minutes at maximum 7W output. It targets content creators, photographers and TikTok producers who need accurate colour on the move. An integrated OLED display and physical controls allow precise adjustment without a phone app.

Mounting and Power Flexibility

Two anti-twist 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the side and bottom let the light attach directly to cameras, cages or tripods. A USB-C port supports simultaneous charge-and-use operation with automatic over-heat protection. The all-metal body acts as a heatsink, keeping the unit cool during extended shoots.

Colour Range and Runtime Limits

The panel covers 2500K to 8500K with 360° hue control, 100-level saturation and 12 built-in effects at 98+ CRI and TLCI. At full 1580 lux output the 5000mAh cell lasts three hours; lower brightness settings extend runtime. Users needing all-day continuous light or higher lux levels will require additional power sources or larger fixtures.

Questions about this item

How long can the 5000mAh battery run the RM120 at its 7W maximum output before it needs recharging?

The built-in 5000mAh battery provides up to 180 minutes of operation at maximum brightness, and the light supports simultaneous charging and discharging via USB-C.

Does the all-metal body keep the RM120 cool and quiet during continuous all-day use?

The integrated metal frame is designed for high heat dissipation and durability, and the unit includes automatic overheat protection for sustained operation.

What mounting hardware must I already have to attach the RM120 to a camera or cage?

The light features two anti-twist 1/4"-20 threaded holes — one on the side and one on the bottom — so you need a standard 1/4"-20 screw or compatible mount.
