Glow Edge Profoto to Bowens Mount Converter

Profoto-to-Bowens adapter

The Glow Edge converter attaches to Profoto B1, B2, D1 and D2 strobes and accepts any Bowens S-type modifier. It is built from steel, rubber and aluminium with a spring-bolt locking ring that secures the accessory with a short clockwise turn. The design keeps the bulb-to-modifier distance virtually unchanged so light output and pattern stay consistent. Photographers who already own Profoto heads can expand their shaping options without buying a new system.

Photographers using Profoto strobes who want

This adapter suits owners of Profoto B1, B2, D1 or D2 lights who need softboxes, beauty dishes, grids or other S-type tools from Glow or other brands. It does not fit non-Profoto mounts, nor does it convert Bowens lights to Profoto modifiers. Buyers without Profoto strobes, or those needing a Profoto-to-Elinchrom or Profoto-to-Broncolor solution, will not be able to use this converter.

Spring-bolt lock and zero-offset design

The spring-bolt mechanism lets you retract the bolt to release a modifier quickly, speeding up changes on set. Because the adapter adds virtually no extra spacing, the light path remains the same as a native Profoto mount, preserving fall-off and hotspot characteristics. No additional tools, shims or firmware are required; the converter is a purely mechanical part that works immediately on compatible heads.
