37.4" Octagon Softbox

This 37.4-inch octagonal softbox from Godox produces soft, even illumination suited to portrait and product photography. The silver interior maximises light output while the shape creates natural catchlights. A Bowens speed ring allows rapid attachment to compatible strobes and continuous lights for studio or location work.

Internal and external diffusers with grid

Removable internal and external diffusers let you adjust light hardness from a soft glow to a more defined look. The included fabric grid narrows the beam angle, reducing spill and adding directionality for dramatic highlights or precise product rendering.

Bowens mount and eight-rod frame

The softbox skin stretches over eight flexible rods that lock into a Bowens-mount speed ring, securing the modifier to any Godox flash head with a Bowens front accessory mount. This construction supports quick assembly and stable mounting during shoots.

Questions about this item

How often should I replace the internal and external diffusers on this 37.4" softbox?

The internal and external diffusers are removable fabric panels; replace them only if they tear, yellow, or lose their diffusion quality after extended use.

What limits the continuous output of a strobe mounted on this Bowens speed ring?

The strobe's own thermal protection and power supply limit sustained output; the softbox adds no electronic restriction.

How much heat builds up inside the 37" octagon during all-day shoots?

Heat comes from the strobe head, not the modifier; the silver interior reflects light efficiently while the open rear allows airflow around the flash unit.
