Large octagonal softbox with black fabric and silver interior, 59 inches wide

Godox Photo Equipment Co. Ltd

Godox 59" Octa Softbox for KNOWLED MG1200Bi

SKU CH-RNVK-GNS03

A 59" octagonal softbox that diffuses the MG1200Bi LED light for soft, even illumination on portraits and large subjects

  • Soft, even illumination from the 59" octagonal diffuser
  • Natural catchlights and minimal harsh shadows on portraits
  • Quick assembly saves valuable time on set or location
  • Durable construction withstands frequent professional use
  • Direct G-mount fit ensures secure attachment to the MG1200Bi

Purpose-Built Diffusion for MG1200Bi

The 59" octagonal softbox is engineered specifically for the Godox KNOWLED MG1200Bi bi-colour LED fixture. It mounts directly to the light's proprietary G mount, so photographers and videographers can add a large, wraparound source without adapters or speed rings. The shape produces natural catchlights that suit portraiture, fashion and large-product work.

Sustained Output Quality

Because the softbox attaches securely to the MG1200Bi's G mount, the diffusion fabric remains tensioned during long sessions, preventing sag that would alter light spread. The high-quality materials resist heat from the 1200 W-class fixture, so colour consistency and edge-to-edge evenness hold steady over hours of continuous operation. Setup and breakdown stay quick, minimising downtime between scenes.

Compatibility Constraint

This modifier only fits the Godox G mount found on the MG1200Bi; it will not mount on Bowens, Profoto or other standard fittings. Buyers who need a softbox for a different mount or a smaller footprint should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 59" Octa Softbox add heat or fan noise when the MG1200Bi runs continuously?

The softbox is a passive light modifier with no fan or electronics, so it adds no heat or noise to the MG1200Bi during all-day use.

What mount must the MG1200Bi already have for this softbox to fit?

The softbox attaches directly to the Godox G mount on the MG1200Bi; no extra adapter is required.

Will the 59" Octa Softbox work with older Bowens-mount Godox lights I still own?

No — it is built for the proprietary G mount on the MG1200Bi and does not fit Bowens-mount fixtures.
