Godox LC500R Mini RGB LED Light Stick White 18

Godox LC500R Mini RGB LED Light Stick White 18

The Godox LC500R is an 18-inch RGB LED light stick built for photographers and videographers who need portable, colour-accurate illumination. It delivers a 2500K to 8500K colour temperature range with 95 CRI and 96 TLCI ratings for faithful colour reproduction. The integrated dimmer adjusts output from 0 to 100 per cent, while a removable barndoor helps shape the beam. A replaceable battery handle supports extended location work without mains power.

Sustained output and thermal behaviour

The fixture draws 20 watts and produces 1580 lux at its rated distance, maintaining consistent output during long takes thanks to its optical lens design. The internal rechargeable battery and swappable handle keep the light running through continuous sessions without performance drop-off. An anti-slip ergonomic grip aids stable handheld operation even during prolonged use, and the compact 1.5-foot form factor dissipates heat passively in typical shooting environments.

Upgrade path and when to switch

This light replaces smaller on-camera panels or fixed-colour wands when you need full RGB mixing, high CRI accuracy and a modular power system in a single handheld tube. The jump is worth it for creators who regularly shoot in mixed lighting, require precise colour matching across multiple units, or need to swap batteries mid-production without losing output. It is not suited for buyers who need larger surface-area sources, higher lumen totals for big spaces, or DMX and wireless network control.
