Purpose and user

The Godox SLB60W is a 60W battery-operated LED video light with a fixed 5600K colour temperature. It suits videographers, photojournalists and wedding photographers who need portable, mains-free illumination for location work.

Sustained output behaviour

The efficient design minimises heat during extended takes, while a temperature control function protects the LED beads from overheating. Brightness adjusts from 10% to 100% without flicker, and the large LCD panel saves settings automatically between sessions.

Pre-purchase checks

Verify that 5600K daylight balance matches your scene or that you have gels for colour correction. Confirm the 433MHz wireless grouping across 6 groups and 16 channels fits your existing Godox control scheme. Ensure the protective cover and mounting options suit your rigging style.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 60W LED produce during long shoots?

The efficient design minimises heat output so the light remains stable during extended use, protecting subjects and equipment while keeping the shooting environment comfortable.

Which power sources can run the SLB60W?

The unit is battery-operated and also accepts AC power via the included adapter, so you can run it from V-mount batteries on location or from mains in the studio.

Will the 433 MHz wireless groups interfere with older Godox lights I already own?

The 433 MHz system uses 6 groups and 16 channels, allowing the SLB60W to coexist with legacy Godox gear without cross-talk when set to different channels.
