Complete 16-Speaker System

The flush-mount housings integrate cleanly with new or existing systems and feature paintable magnetic grilles for a frameless look.

Verify Mounting Space And Amp Power

Confirm your ceiling can accommodate a 10.16-inch round cut-out and 4.06-inch mounting depth for each speaker. The pressure-lock clamps secure to drywall without extra hardware, so no joist work is required. Your receiver or amplifier must provide raw speaker-wire outputs rated between 10 and 350 watts per channel into 8 ohms.

Ideal For Multi-Room Installations

Installers wiring many zones will appreciate the 16-unit quantity and tool-free mounting. Buyers needing weather-rated outdoor models, active powered speakers or a smaller stereo pair should consider other options. The system also assumes CL3-rated in-wall speaker wire is already planned or installed.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 16-pack and what else do I need to buy?

The box contains 16 frameless in-ceiling speakers with paintable magnetic grilles and spring-loaded wire terminals. You must supply a home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs rated between 10 and 350 watts per channel, plus CL3-rated in-wall speaker wire.

How do I choose between the different versions or capacities of this speaker?

This model is sold only as a single 16-speaker pack (eight stereo pairs). There are no alternative capacities, colours or driver configurations listed for the CSic84, so no version choice is required.

What does the 95 dB sensitivity figure mean once the speakers are installed in my ceiling?

At 8 ohms, each speaker produces 95 dB output at one metre with one watt of input power. Combined with the 40 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, this high sensitivity lets a modest amplifier fill large rooms with full-range sound from the 8-inch poly woofers, Mylar midranges and 0.5-inch Mylar tweeters.
