Eight-Speaker In-Ceiling Set

This eight-speaker in-ceiling set delivers flush-mount surround sound for home theatre or whole-house audio. Each unit uses a two-way design with a 5.25-inch woven-fibre woofer and a pivoting titanium tweeter. The passive speakers connect directly to any receiver or amplifier with raw speaker-wire outputs.

Pressure Lock Mounting System

The proprietary Pressure Lock clamps secure each speaker to drywall without separate hardware, fitting a 6.61-inch cut-out and 2.8-inch mounting depth. Removable ABS grilles can be painted to match the ceiling, while raw-wire clamp or solder terminals simplify the final connection.

40 Hz–22 kHz Frequency Response

Rated at 97 dB sensitivity and 8-ohm impedance, the system handles 10 to 250 watts per channel for clear dialogue and dynamic effects. It covers medium-to-large rooms comfortably, though larger venues or reference-level playback may require additional amplification or larger drivers.

Questions about this item

Will the butyl rubber surrounds on the 5.25" woofers need replacement over time?

Butyl rubber surrounds are designed for long-term durability and typically do not require replacement under normal use.

What power limit should I observe to avoid overdriving the speakers during extended sessions?

Your receiver power should be no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts per channel for safe operation.

How much heat do the ABS housings generate when the system runs all day?

Passive speakers do not generate significant heat themselves; the ABS housings remain near room temperature during continuous playback.
