Five-Speaker In-Ceiling Set

This set contains five frameless in-ceiling speakers designed for home-theatre surround configurations. Each unit uses a two-way driver layout with a 5.25-inch poly cone woofer and a 0.5-inch Mylar tweeter. The pressure-lock mounting system clamps to drywall without separate hardware. Paintable magnetic grilles give a flush, frameless appearance.

Suits Discrete Whole-Room Audio

Buyers wanting an unobtrusive 5.1 layout that blends into ceilings will appreciate the wide dispersion and paintable grilles. The passive design requires an external receiver or amplifier with raw speaker-wire outputs. Installations lacking a suitable amplifier or preferring active wireless speakers should consider other options.

Handles 10–200 Watts Per Channel

Frequency response spans 45 Hz to 22 kHz at 95 dB sensitivity and 8 ohms impedance. The system comfortably covers dialogue, effects and music at typical listening levels. Very large rooms or reference-level playback may exceed the 200-watt thermal limit or the low-frequency extension of the 5.25-inch woofers.

Questions about this item

What amplifier power range does the R192 speaker set require?

Your receiver or amplifier must deliver between 10 and 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms to drive these passive speakers properly.

Can the R192 speakers share the same speaker wire runs as my existing in-wall speakers?

Yes, they use standard raw wire connections and work with CL3-rated in-wall speaker wire, so they integrate with existing wired runs.

How can I verify the R192 set is performing correctly after installation?

Play full-range content and listen for clear output from the 5.25-inch woofers down to 45 Hz and the 0.5-inch tweeters up to 22 kHz at the rated 95 dB sensitivity.
