Scalable whole-home Wi-Fi system

This two-pack delivers whole-home coverage with one router and one satellite point. It supports up to 200 connected devices and streams multiple 4K videos simultaneously. Each point doubles as a smart speaker with the Google Assistant for hands-free help. The system is managed entirely through the Google Home app.

App-guided setup with mesh expansion

Installation is handled step-by-step in the Google Home app, which detects the hardware and configures the network automatically. The router connects to your modem while the point wirelessly extends coverage to eliminate dead zones. No WAN or LAN ports are present on either unit, so wired backhaul or client connections require a separate switch. Bluetooth simplifies the initial device discovery during onboarding.

Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 with 5 400 sq ft coverage

The system operates on 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands using Wi-Fi 5 technology with beamforming for directed signal strength. Combined coverage reaches 5 400 square feet with a maximum data rate of 2.2 Gbps. NAT firewall and parental controls secure the network and manage family access. This pack suits homes needing scalable wireless coverage and integrated voice control without wired Ethernet ports.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the system is covering the full 5400 sq ft after setup?

Use the Google Home app to run a mesh test; it measures signal strength between the router and point and flags any weak zones so you can reposition the point for full coverage.

What comes in the box and do I need a separate modem?

The box contains one router, one point, and power adapters; you must supply your own modem and an Ethernet cable to connect the router to that modem.

Should I choose this 2-pack or add another point for 6600 sq ft?

The 2-pack covers up to 5400 sq ft; if your home is larger or has dense walls, adding a third point extends coverage to 6600 sq ft.
