Whole-home coverage and smart speaker

This Google Nest Wifi point extends an existing Nest Wifi or Google Wifi network with up to 1600 square feet of additional coverage. It delivers AC1200 dual-band speeds with 2x2 MU-MIMO for up to four simultaneous streams. A built-in 360° speaker with a 40mm driver adds Google Assistant voice control to the room.

Homes needing both Wi-Fi extension and voice control

The point suits households that want mesh expansion and a smart speaker in one device without adding separate hardware. It is not for buyers who only need a wired access point or a router with Ethernet ports for backhaul. Homes without an existing Nest Wifi or Google Wifi router cannot use this unit.

AC1200 dual-band mesh with Assistant

The AC1200 dual-band radio with 2x2 MU-MIMO determines whether the point can handle your streaming and device density. Bluetooth 4.2 supports audio streaming to the integrated speaker. Compatibility is limited to Nest Wifi and Google Wifi systems.
