Gorilla Glue 6055002 Heavy Duty Mounting Tape 1" x 60" 30 Lb

What this tape is and who it fits

Gorilla Heavy Duty Mounting Tape 6055002 is a double-sided adhesive roll designed for permanent indoor and outdoor bonding. It suits DIYers and tradespeople who need a fast, nail-free fix on plastic, metal, wood, glass, brick, ceramic or stone. The black tape conforms to smooth and rough surfaces without yellowing over time. Buyers who need a removable or low-strength bond should choose a different product.

What the roll format changes

Supplied as a single 1-inch by 60-inch roll rated to hold 30 lb, the tape lets you cut custom lengths for each job instead of relying on pre-cut squares. The continuous format reduces waste on long runs such as trim, panels or signage and speeds up repetitive mounting tasks. No extra applicators, primers or tools are included in the pack. Users who prefer pre-sized squares for small, repeatable spots will not benefit from this format.

Installation ease and common pitfalls

Application is straightforward: clean both surfaces, cut the required length, press firmly and the bond sets instantly. Because the adhesive is permanent, repositioning is not practical once contact is made. Dust, oil or moisture on the substrate will weaken the hold, so thorough preparation is essential. The tape is not designed for structural loads beyond the rated capacity or for surfaces that flex significantly.
