Outdoor Repair Tape

Gorilla Permanent All Weather Tape is built for outdoor repairs that must survive sun, rain, heat and cold. Its butyl adhesive bonds permanently to a wide range of surfaces. The black, weather-resistant shell protects the bond from drying, cracking and peeling. Homeowners and tradespeople can tear it by hand or cut it to length for quick fixes.

Thermals Noise Power

The tape operates reliably in both hot and cold temperatures without losing adhesion. Its rubber-based adhesive resists degradation caused by sunlight, heat, cold and moisture. No power is required and the product produces no noise during application or service. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain shelf life.

Upgrade Path

This tape replaces standard duct tapes that fail when exposed to prolonged weather cycles. The jump is worth it when a repair must stay sealed through seasonal temperature swings and UV exposure. It is not electrical tape and should not be used for insulating wires. Buyers who need a transparent finish or a removable adhesive will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the tape so it seals properly on a rough surface?

Clean the area until it is free of dust, dirt and debris, then press the tape down firmly while smoothing out every pocket or roll so the butyl adhesive makes full contact.

Will the rubber adhesive dry out or need to be reapplied after a season outdoors?

The butyl adhesive resists drying, cracking and peeling from sunlight, heat, cold and moisture, so it stays bonded without reapplication.

At what temperature does the tape stop sticking during a long cold snap?

The tape is designed to work in both hot and cold temperatures and withstands extreme weather conditions.
