Gorilla Tough & Clear Double Sided Mounting Tape 1" x 150" Clear

Tough & Clear Double-Sided Mounting Tape

Gorilla Tough & Clear Double Sided XL Mounting Tape is a crystal-clear adhesive roll designed for permanent indoor and outdoor mounting. The conformable adhesive bonds immediately to smooth and rough surfaces including plastic, metal, wood, glass, brick, ceramic and stone. It provides a weatherproof hold without nails or screws and will not yellow over time. Each pack contains one roll measuring 1 inch by 150 inches.

Best for permanent bonds on mixed surfaces

This tape suits DIYers and tradespeople who need a strong, invisible bond on irregular or porous materials where mechanical fasteners are impractical. It holds up to 38 pounds, making it reliable for heavier decorative or structural items. Buyers who require a removable or repositionable adhesive should look at a different product because this formulation is designed for permanent mounting. Projects needing a specific temperature or UV resistance rating beyond the general weatherproof claim should also consider alternatives.

Holds up to 38 pounds

The single specification that decides suitability is the 38-pound holding capacity, which defines the maximum load the tape can support in a permanent installation. If the intended object exceeds this weight, the tape will not provide a secure bond and a different fastening method must be chosen. The 150-inch roll length determines how many individual mounts can be cut from one pack. Both figures together define the practical limits for any project.
