Colour-Coded Walkie Talkies for Children

These 5-channel two-way radios use colour bands instead of numeric frequencies so children aged three to twelve can match channels by sight. Each handset weighs 75 g and includes a detachable belt clip, flashlight, compass and magnifying glass for outdoor play.

Simple Push-Button Operation

Press and hold the top button to cycle through red, blue, green, yellow and purple channels; units on the same colour talk to each other instantly. A dedicated call button at the bottom sends an alert tone. Power comes from three AAA batteries (not supplied) and the clip removes by pressing both ends and pushing down.

3-Mile Range in Open Terrain

The 450-470 MHz FRS/GMRS signal reaches up to three miles under ideal line-of-sight conditions, with clear voice technology that reduces static. Buildings, hills or dense foliage will shorten the usable distance, and the radios cannot communicate with devices on different channel codes or outside the FRS/GMRS band.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 5 colour-coded channels are working after inserting 3 AAA batteries?

Press and hold the top button to cycle through red, blue, green, yellow and purple; units on the same colour channel will hear each other and the call button at the bottom will trigger an alert tone.

What accessories are included and what must I supply separately?

The set includes the walkie-talkie with built-in flashlight, compass and magnifying glass plus a detachable back clip; you must provide 3 AAA batteries as no batteries are embedded.

Which channel colour should I pick for a group of four children?

Any single colour — red, blue, green, yellow or purple — works for the whole group as long as every handset is set to the same colour channel.
