Compact AM/FM clock radio for bedside use

The GPX C224B is a mains-powered digital radio with a .6 inch red LED display, designed for bedroom or kitchen placement. It offers dual independent alarms so two people can wake at different times or one person can set weekday and weekend schedules. A snooze function and battery backup keep time and alarm settings during short power interruptions.

Twenty station presets split across both bands

Ten AM and ten FM presets are stored with last-user recall, letting you return to favourite stations without retuning. The PLL tuner locks onto frequencies cleanly, and the simple front-panel controls make preset programming straightforward even in low light.

Suits anyone wanting a simple mains clock radio

Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, a USB charging port, a larger display or weather-band reception should look elsewhere, as this unit provides only AM/FM radio and a buzzer alarm.

Questions about this item

How does the .6 inch red LED display perform in a dark bedroom?

The .6 inch red LED display is sized to show the time clearly without overwhelming a dark room, and its red colour preserves night vision better than blue or white alternatives.

What does the AC power requirement mean for daily use and backup?

The unit runs from the included AC adapter and keeps time and alarm settings during outages using two AAA batteries, which are not included.

What space does the 20 unit dimension need on a nightstand?

The product measures 20 units in its longest dimension, so allow at least that much flat surface plus a small margin for the power cord and battery compartment access.
