Questions about this item

How do I install the BL-5C battery and what step do people miss?

Open the battery compartment, insert the BL-5C cell matching the polarity markings, close the cover, then charge via USB-C for the first time; many forget the initial charge and assume it works straight out of the box.

What maintenance or replacement will the walkie-talkie need later?

The replaceable BL-5C battery will eventually hold less charge after hundreds of cycles; swap it for a new BL-5C cell and keep the USB-C port clean for reliable charging.

What limit appears first during sustained use?

The 1020 mAh battery delivers about 5 hours of continuous talk time before needing a recharge, so plan for a USB-C top-up on longer outings.
