Graco XHD423 Airless Spray Tip

The Graco XHD423 is a new airless spray gun tip with a 0.023 in orifice designed for professional finishing work. It produces an 8 in to 10 in fan pattern and carries a gray colour code for quick identification. The tip threads onto compatible guns using a 7/8 in thread and handles up to 7,250 psi maximum working pressure.

Reversible tip fits XHD series guards

This tip installs directly onto Graco XHD series tip guards such as the X30DH4, X40DH4, X45DH4, X46DH4, X50DH4, X55DH4, X60DH4, X70DH4 and X80DH4 models. The reversible design lets you clear clogs by twisting the tip without removing it from the gun. It also works with the 287995 housing for integrated filter setups.

Sustained high-pressure spraying

The hardened seat and orifice resist wear during long jobs at the rated 7,250 psi, keeping the 0.023 in aperture consistent over time. Reversing the tip flushes debris instantly so flow stays steady without gun disassembly. The fixed 8 in to 10 in pattern width limits coverage speed on very large surfaces.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum working pressure the XHD423 tip can handle before wear accelerates?

The tip is rated for a maximum working pressure of 7,250 psi, which is the limit that appears first under sustained high-pressure spraying.

How much heat or noise does the tip generate during continuous all-day spraying?

The tip itself has no moving parts or motor, so it produces no noise or heat; any sound or warmth comes from the pump and fluid friction in the hose.

Which Graco spray gun models must I already own for this tip to fit?

The tip fits Graco models X30DH4, X40DH4, X45DH4, X46DH4, X50DH4, X55DH4, X60DH4, X70DH4 and X80DH4 with a 7/8-inch thread.
