Airless Spray Tip 0.029 in

The Graco XHD529 is a reversible airless spray gun tip with a 0.029 inch orifice. It produces a 10 to 12 inch fan pattern and threads onto a 7/8 inch fitting. The tip is rated for a maximum working pressure of 7,250 psi.

Capacity and headroom

This tip handles thin to medium coatings such as stains, lacquers and light latex paints at high pressure. The 0.029 inch orifice limits flow, so it runs out on heavy-bodied materials or when very high coverage speed is required.

Upgrade path

It replaces worn or damaged tips on compatible Graco XHD and XTR guns including models X30DH4, X40DH4, X45DH4, X46DH4, X50DH4, X55DH4, X60DH4, X70DH4 and X80DH4. The jump is worth it when the existing tip no longer holds a clean pattern or when switching to a finer finish.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.029 in tip fit the 7/8 in thread on my existing Graco XHD spray gun?

Yes, the tip uses a 7/8 in thread size that matches compatible Graco XHD gun models.

How can I confirm the spray pattern is performing correctly after installing the tip?

The tip produces a 10 in to 12 in pattern at up to 7,250 psi; verify even coverage and consistent fan width on a test surface.

Does the package include a tip guard or housing, or must I buy part 288008 separately?

The listing states Includes Not Applicable, so the tip ships alone and part 288008 is required for use.
