16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch

The Grandstream GWN7702 delivers 16 RJ45 ports operating at 1000 megabits per second for immediate plug-and-play expansion. Its metal chassis supports desktop or rack-mount installation and includes LED indicators for link, activity, speed and power status per device.

Suited for simple wired networks

This switch suits small offices or home offices that need silent, unmanaged Gigabit connectivity without configuration. It is not for buyers who require PoE power on any port, managed features such as VLANs, or uplink speeds beyond 1000 megabits per second.

Handles 16 concurrent Gigabit links

Each of the 16 ports provides full-duplex Gigabit throughput with auto MDI/MDIX and storm control fixed at 100 megabits per second. The switch runs out of headroom when aggregate traffic exceeds the 1000 megabits per second fabric limit or when PoE-powered devices are required.

Questions about this item

What cables do I need to connect devices to the 16 RJ45 ports?

Use standard Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet patch cables with RJ45 plugs; the switch supports Auto MDI/MDIX so straight-through cables work for every port.

Will my 10/100 Mbps devices slow down the 1000 Mbps ports?

Each port auto-negotiates its own speed, so 10/100 devices run at their rated speed while Gigabit devices use the full 1000 Mbps capacity.

How do I confirm every port is passing traffic at Gigabit speed after power-up?

The per-port Link/Activity/Speed LED lights green for a 1000 Mbps link and blinks during data transfer, giving immediate visual confirmation.
