Enterprise Portable WiFi Phone

The Grandstream WP820 is a cordless IP phone built for dual-band 802.11 wireless networks. It delivers HD voice through a dual-microphone design with echo cancellation and noise suppression. Suits mobile staff on campus Wi-Fi

This handset suits workers who need to roam across large premises while staying on a single Wi-Fi network. Bluetooth pairing supports wireless headsets and contact syncing from a mobile device. Buyers who require cellular fallback or a ruggedised housing rated for drops should look at alternative devices designed for those environments.

7.5-hour talk time on a 1500Mah battery

The single specification that decides fit is the 7.5 hour talk time delivered by the 1500Mah rechargeable battery. It determines whether a full shift can be covered without recharging. Verify that your expected daily usage falls within this limit before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the WP820 need a specific mounting bracket or wall plate?

The WP820 is a cordless handset with no mounting bracket or wall plate required; it operates freely on its internal 1500Mah battery.

How do I pair a headset to the WP820 and what step is often missed?

Use the Bluetooth menu to pair the headset, then confirm the contact-sync prompt so the phone can transfer calls to the paired device.

Which user-replaceable part will need attention after extended daily use?

The 1500Mah rechargeable battery is the only user-replaceable component; when talk time falls well below 7.5 hours, swap in a fresh battery.
