SKU CH-J6T4-SXY1W

Green mesh tarp measuring 120 by 96 inches provides 70% UV protection with brass grommets every 24 inches

  • 70% sunblock shields garden and pool from harsh UV
  • 24-inch brass grommet spacing secures loads on dump trucks
  • HDPE mesh resists tearing in heavy wind and rain
  • Reinforced corners and double-stitched hems extend service life
  • Air-permeable fabric cools canopy without trapping heat

Shade Tarp 8' x 10'

This green mesh tarp measures 8 feet by 10 feet and provides 70 percent ultraviolet light protection. It is made from high-density polyethylene for tear and weather resistance. The tarp suits gardens, fences, privacy screens, canopies, dump trucks and pool covers.

Brass Grommets Every 24 Inches

Solid brass grommets run along the sides and reinforced corners at 24-inch centre-to-centre spacing. Double-stitched polypropylene hems add strength for tying down loads. The construction allows free air flow while the material blocks 60 percent of shade.

70 Percent UV Protection

The single specification that decides fit is the 70 percent ultraviolet light protection rating. Buyers who need a solid waterproof barrier or a higher shade percentage should choose a different cover. This tarp is designed for airflow and sun reduction, not total rain blockage.

Questions about this item

What does the 70 % ultraviolet light protection rating mean for daily use?

The 70 % UV protection blocks most harmful rays while still allowing light and airflow through the high-density polyethylene mesh.

How far apart are the brass grommets and what size rope fits them?

Grommets are spaced 24 inches centre-to-centre along all edges and reinforced corners, sized for standard tie-down rope or bungee cords.

What is the correct way to tension this 8' x 10' tarp so the grommets do not tear out?

Attach all corner grommets first, then work toward the centre every 24 inches, keeping tension even across the 120-by-96-inch sheet.
