Fine-Grit Sanding Sheets for Finish Work

These Zoro Select sheets measure 11 inches by 9 inches and come in a 100-pack rated P150 grit. They use silicon carbide abrasive on a B-weight paper backing. The fine grade suits woodworkers, painters and metalworkers preparing surfaces for final coats.

Cut-to-Fit Flexibility for Hand or Block Sanding

Each sheet tears cleanly to smaller sizes for detail work or wraps a sanding block for flat panels. The paper backing conforms to contours without the stiffness of cloth-backed discs. No adhesive or hook-and-loop system is required, so they work with any standard hand tool.

100-Sheet Pack Covers Large Prep Jobs

The silicon carbide grain cuts quickly on varnish, primer and soft metals while resisting loading. P150 grit leaves a surface ready for stain or topcoat without deep scratches. Heavy stock removal or coarse shaping will wear these sheets faster than lower-grit alternatives.

Questions about this item

How long does a single 11-inch P150 sheet last under sustained sanding?

Each sheet uses silicon-carbide abrasive on a B-weight paper backing; the fine P150 grit wears steadily on wood or metal, and the 100-pack provides enough replacements for extended jobs.

Does the paper backing curl or generate dust heat when used all day?

The B-weight paper backing resists curling during long sessions, while silicon-carbide grains cut cool and produce a fine white dust that stays manageable with a shop vacuum.

What backing pad or block is needed to use these 11-by-9 sheets?

The sheets are plain-backed paper, so they require a standard 11-inch hand sanding block, orbital sander pad or quarter-sheet clamp that accepts 11-by-9-inch cut sheets.
