What this pack contains

Six rolls of 12 mm wide vinyl tape, each 5.5 m long, printed black on white. They are made as direct replacements for Dymo 18444 cartridges and fit Rhino 1000, 3000, 4200, 5000, 5200 and 6000 printers plus ILP 219 and 3M PL150, PL200, PL300 models.

Installing the tape

Before loading, turn the gear clockwise until the ribbon is tight to prevent jams. The split backing peels cleanly and leaves no residue when labels are removed. Do not pull the tape while printing and keep fingers clear of the cutter during operation.

Limits of the vinyl format

The continuous roll lets you cut custom lengths, but the fixed 12 mm width and 5.5 m per roll set the total print area. Vinyl resists water, grease, chemicals, abrasion and fading, yet extreme temperatures or prolonged UV exposure will eventually degrade adhesion and legibility.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the tape feeds correctly after installing it in my Rhino 5200?

Turn the gear clockwise until the ribbon is tight before closing the cover, then print a test label to verify clean cutting and legible black text on white.

What comes in the box and do I need a separate ribbon cartridge?

The pack contains six 12 mm x 5.5 m vinyl tapes with split backing; no separate ribbon is required because the tape includes the thermal ribbon.

Which tape width should I choose for the Rhino 3000 if I need 12 mm labels?

This pack supplies 12 mm (0.47 in) wide tape, the correct width for the Rhino 3000 and all listed Rhino models.
